Tibet Everest Base Camp and Rongphu monastery accommodations

There is a guesthouse and a hotel next to the monastery. The hotel does not have private bathrooms, actually for almost all accommodations in Everest Base Camp and Rongphuk Monastery area, there is no any bathroom.  Mt. Everest View Terrace Guesthouse is quite a bit backwards.Private bathroom is impossible, heating, hot water etc are something visionary in EBC area. Toilet is shared even in the View Terrace Guesthouse. Whatever people said about the EBC overnight, truth is that rare first visitors are able to sleep well during night which is mainly because of the altitude, not the lodging condition.In fact, during the high season, it is even impossible to stay in the regular room in the guesthouse at the Rompuk Monastery. Sometimes the yaks sleep outside of the accommodations window and there is no toilet and bathroom. No one can fall into sleep that night in Rongphu-Everest base camp area, for it is very high - 5200m and all day long headach on every body.
