We can send your more detailed day to day arrangements after your inquiry.
Group offers: If you can gather your own group of 5-6 people then we will prepare a more customized itinerary and departure date that suits you, based on the days available to you. The price will be extremely great, but if you have only 2 or 3 in your party, wanting to have your own private tour, then the price will be a little bit higher as fewer people sharing all the expenses.
Equipment
We provide everything except for your bike, a sleeping bag, thermal-rest and personal equipment and clothing. A detailed list of our recommendations in these matters will be sent on confirmation of your booking. Individual tents (one /person) can be provided as good quality sleeping bags and sleeping mattresses at an additional charge.
*Essential Equipment and Clothing: In addition to your ''normal'' daily clothes, you will need the following:
*Essential: sleeping mat, 4 season sleeping bag; warm jacket; sunglasses, sunscreen, sunhat, torch, water bottle.
*Recommended: thermal underwear, gloves. Sleeping bags and down jackets may be hired in Kathmandu. For departures in October these should be reserved in advance through our KTM office since this is peak season in Nepal and availability of equipment for hire is very limited
The Best Season and Weather
From April to October is the best season for riding. There isn't much rain in Tibet as it's a plateau behind the Himalayan range but it rains some extent during July and August and rest of the season is fine with clear sky. There may be snowing in the high passes if it rains during April and end of October. Temperature ranges from 0-15 degree, depending upon altitude weather.
